Here at UNC Chapel Hill, the undergraduate and graduate students within the Computer Science department work each week to provide guidance in Python and web development to local middle and high school girls. We have three meetings each week: Monday 5-6:30pm, Tuesday 5-6:30pm and Wednesday 5-6:30pm in Sitterson Hall. For Spring 2019, the sessions are for students continuing from fall 2018 and students with coding experience. The girls spend part of their time working through an online Python curriculum as established by Girls Who Code and part of their time completing a Community Project that is web-based and showcased at the end of the year.
