InnAVasc Medical, Inc is a medical device company founded by Duke University surgeons and scientists, which designs and develops products for vascular access for hemodialysis. The Company’s first technology is an arteriovenous graft (AVG) modification that incorporates two multilayer cannulation chambers, with low bleed technology resistant to posterior and sidewall needle penetration and injury.
Internship Job Description:
Working on next generation product development and providing assistance during clinical study. Responsibilities will involve aiding in device design, bench top test fixture development, rapid prototyping, and ensuring adequate supplies available for clinical study. Intern will work with multiple stakeholders to quantify test results to aid in product design evolution.
This internship requires a commitment of 40 hours per week over 12 weeks, and is available starting ASAP.
This internship is supported in part by a grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center through the Industrial Internship Program.
Graduate or undergraduate program in engineering – priority given to biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering. Medical and business backgrounds also considered.
