Internship Job Description:
Triad Studios is offering a paid Accounting Internship position, requiring approximately 8-12 hours per week, paying $15/hr. You do not need to have any film industry experience as this is an accounting position. However, you will experience what it’s like working in a growing media agency.
We are looking for someone hard working, dependable, and skilled in the areas of accounting and finance. This intern will help with day-to-day accounting and financial tasks and get hands-on experience with Quickbooks Online transaction filing, receipt management, A/R & A/P tracking, cash flow planning, payroll, banking, reconciling, and weekly/monthly data reporting. We are looking for this intern to work roughly two half days, with the option to work remotely for some days.
In order to excel in this role, you must be detail oriented and good with numbers and data entry. You should operate well in a structured role with task lists and deadlines. You will be expected to gather data points and summarize them in weekly reports.
As an intern, you will be able to work closely with the CFO and other founders in an exciting startup environment. You will learn how money flows in, out, and through a growing business. You will be given lots of responsibility from the beginning and will have room for future growth if you excel in your role.
General knowledge of accounting and GAAP principles
Very comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets
Extremely detail oriented and task driven
Excels in synthesizing and summarizing numbers into reports
Working knowledge in cash flow projections and budgeting
Basic knowledge of Quickbooks Online platform
