Internship Job Description:
Are you passionate about innovation and love spotlighting creativity? Are you excited about Raleigh’s flourishing innovation ecosystem (startups, social enterprises, universities, and non-profits)? Are you interested in learning more about how innovation is cultivated through public/private partnerships? Come join the City of Raleigh’s new Office of Strategy & Innovation (aka Yes, And!) as our Innovation Storyteller Intern and help us spotlight and build our culture of innovation.
SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Office, Excel), internet browsers, and web search engines
Active knowledge of Social Media channels: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tik-Tok
Language skills: Fluent in English
Soft skills: Organized, detailed driven, self-motivated, responsive, and able to multi-task in a timely manner, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to collaborate, strong work ethic and positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, collect and synthesize information easily
Current student at a university or recent graduate – preferred fields of study: Business Administration, Entrepreneurship/Social Entrepreneurship, Communication, Psychology, Marketing & related fields
