Position Title: Marketing Students Initiate Student Led Program to Elevate City & Town
Company Description: Pittsboro Parasols is a concept yet to launch- The objective is to uplift the energy and visual appearance of the town of Chapel Hill and Pittsboro streets, meanwhile Provide light opportunities for Unhoused people to have a Dignity Opportunity to earn Tokens for dining at local Restaurants by providing “Parasols” (Colorful Golf Umbrellas) to pedestrians walking the sidewalks AND have photos taken if desired to capture the moment.

Internship Job Description:

Students will
(1) create a Token Economy Program
(A light form of a Non-Profit) (easier to manage and less complicated than a regular Non-Profit) with the GOAL of supporting unhoused or others to have opportunity to eat a meal at local restaurant or shop.

(2) Students will work with local restaurants to engage them to participate in offering selected foods for those who earn tokens from participating in passing out Parasols.
Parasols use is for visual impact and delightful color of uplift in the town and at crosswalks, and for use on the town streets while people are strolling and shopping
